What started out as a go kart hobby in 1959 by Lloyd Milliken, grew into a full time business that was incorporated as Michiana Midget Motors, Inc in 1963.  By the late 1960’s Michiana Midget Motors expanded into the manufacturing of mini-bikes and go-karts with their Charger brand, along with the distribution of parts & accessories for racing karts and engines.  In the 1970’s business was expanded further to include motorcycle & snowmobile parts to compliment the go-karting business.

In 1988 the business was purchased by long time employee Norm DeBoever from Lloyd after his retirement and the business focused solely on karting parts & accessories.  It was also around this time that Michiana Midget Motors became known by its current name of Target Distributing.  Norm remained involved in the day-to-day operation of Target Distributing until his passing in June of 2014, at which point his son Joe DeBoever took over operations.

The current focus of Target Distributing is on the wholesale distribution of karting parts & accessories.  We are the exclusive US distributor of EK Kart Chain & Noram Clutches, and carry many products from some of the leading names in the karting market including: Autolite, Denso, Douglas Wheel Technologies, Max Torque, Team Valhalla, RLV, Vega Helmets, Zamp Helmets and much more.

We have dealers & distributors throughout the United States & Canada, as well as dealers in Australia, New Zealand & Mexico to name a few.

From our founding as Michiana Midget Motors and now as Target Distributing, our goal has been to offer excellent customer service, competitive pricing and quality products.
